Where is my progress stored?

On your device. If you choose to sign in, we keep an optional backup so you can restore on a new phone. Without an account, deleting the app deletes your progress.

How do I restore my purchase on a new phone?

Open Profile and tap Restore Purchases. Subscriptions live with your App Store or Google Play account, not with us, so they follow you to any device signed in to the same store account.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Cancel through the App Store or Google Play subscription settings; we never bill you directly. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Count Cards. On Android, open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.

How do I erase my data?

Open Profile and tap Erase All Progress. If you have an account, this also removes the backup from our servers.

Do I need an account?

No. Everything in the app works without one. Accounts exist only to back up your progress.

Why is the app rated 17+/18+?

Both stores require this rating for the simulated gambling category. The app teaches a skill, involves no real money, and pays out nothing.

Is card counting legal?

Yes. Card counting is observation and arithmetic, nothing more. Casinos are private businesses and may ask skilled players to leave, but counting breaks no law. The app is an educational tool.
